At closing, you, the buyer, and the closing agent sign settlement documents that finalize the transaction. If you cannot attend, arrange alternatives in advance. Proceeds can be wired or issued by check per your instructions. Hand over keys and relevant property information at closing; once signatures are complete, the property is sold.
